The project included the following structures and units: tanks, dike walls for retention, truck loading structures, pumping station, operation and electrical buildings, roads, and underground facilities.

Scope:

- Geotechnical Investigation for the proposed project.
- Borehole drilling and sampling (drilling depth: 30.0 m).
- Field tests: (SPT, CPTU).
- Electrical Resistivity Tests.
- Cross-hole Seismic Tests.
- Laboratory tests including: grain size analysis and index tests for classification, chemical analysis, consolidation, triaxial tests, unconfined compression, CBR.
- Settlement and bearing capacity calculations. Several geotechnical software packages were used in the analysis.
